Take Time to Unwind so You Can Enjoy Your Holiday


In case you missed the hint from the Christmas trees already up in Costco, the holidays are approaching fast. This is supposed to be the happiest time of year, but all too often becomes stressful and overwhelming. We have all sorts of helpful recommendations to slow down and enjoy the experience, but sometimes it’s helpful to have specific things to do to help you slow down.

 

Massages are an excellent way to unwind and reset so you can enjoy the day again. It is an excellent use of time as it relieves pain, improves muscle function, and helps you detox. A massage is an hour set aside to be still, let someone else take care of you where you don’t have to do anything but relax. 

 

Massages leave you loose and at peace which sticks with you for days beyond your initial treatment. If you have enough muscle tension you may feel sore the day after your massage before the looseness sets in. In this case the massage likely prevented an onset of severe pain that would have slowed you down and stressed you out more going into the holidays. 

 

We encourage you to go into the holidays prepared to let some less important things go undone,  take the time to enjoy the holidays, and let the important things be the focus of the holiday season.
